I grew up in central New Mexico (Tewa territory) and my maternal lineage is native to Northern New Mexico (pueblo). I grew up in a large multicultural family and learned to navigate complexity from a young age. I am a first generation college student who proudly began at community college in the San Fernando Valley of Northern Los Angeles (Tongva territory).

I started my social work career in community mental health, working with children aged 0-12 and their families. It was during this time when I developed my lens of intergenerational care.

I enjoy writing, creating art, gardening, spending time in nature, jamming to R&B, supporting local community events and being a mama.

Finding beauty in the smallest ways is also a special interest of mine.
